Detailed Procedure to Search TDCJ Inmate:
You can search an inmate online, by email or by phone.
Online Inmate’s Search Method:
- The last and the first initial of the first name
- The TDCJ number
- The SID number
- First of all turn on your computer system and open the web browser which you are using at present.
- In the next step, you are required to open the official website of the company by putting the URL link into the search bar of a browser.
- Access the website link
- As you get access to the homepage of the website you need to click on the option of “Offender search” located under the Quick links heading.

Are Offenders Allowed To Make Phone Calls To Their Friends And Family?
There are two ways in which criminals can talk to their friends and family.
- Eligible offenders are allowed to make prepaid calls through Offender Telephone System.
